VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - June 28, 2010) - Bolero Resources Corp. (the "Company" or "Bolero"), (TSX VENTURE:BRU)(FRANKFURT:U7N1) announces that multiple scintillometer anomalies have been identified on the north east portion of its Carbonatite Syndicate Rare Earth Claim Group located 80km north east of Prince George, BC.
The anomalies lie within 2 kilometers of Spectrum Mining's "Wicheeda" Rare Earth Element ("REE") Discovery which returned significant drill results, including a 48.64 metre interval which averaged 3.55% rare earth elements, a 72.0 metre interval that averaged 2.92% REE, and a 144 metre interval which averaged 2.20% REE in three separate drill holes. (2008 Aris Report) (http://aris.empr.gov.bc.ca/ArisReports/30873.PDF)
Bolero is now awaiting the results of multiple soil and silt samples that have been sent to ALS Chemex Labs for multi-element geochemical analysis. The samples originated from tightly spaced grids to the immediate north east of Spectrum Mining's discovery area, while additional silt samples were also collected from drainages throughout the northern half of the Bolero's claims.
Mackevoy Geosciences Ltd. "Mackevoy" has now conducted exploration on 24 of the 57 claims including visual reconnaissance work and sampling on many of the satellite anomalies. Mackevoy has recorded multiple scintillometer anomalies on the NE claim group and has commenced further ground exploration in those areas. A total of 70 line kilometers of magnetometer and 90 line kilometers of scintillometer data have been collected to date. Mackevoy has established a new base camp to the South of Spectrum Mining's "Fluorite" Southern Claim Group and will continue to define potential drill targets for Bolero's planned upcoming drill program.
Bolero Resources' President and CEO, R. Bruce Duncan, stated "We are pleased to have already narrowed in on multiple anomalies. We have collected a number of high priority samples and have submitted them for analysis while the Mackevoy team has extended their exploration efforts to the southern portion of our claims surrounding Spectrum's recent "Fluortie" discovery. Bolero is one of the first public companies to commence work in the area this season and to date; the geological evidence collected in the Wicheeda Camp suggests the presence for a large carbonatite system throughout the area."
Bolero now has the largest contiguous land package surrounding Spectrum Mining's "Wicheeda" Rare Earth discovery, spanning over approximately 56,000 acres and encompassing 57 mineral claims.
Management anticipates multiple active work programs to commence shortly, including Bolero's prospect contiguous to Imperial Metals (III-TSX) "Red Chris" Gold/Copper prospect in North West, BC."

About Spectrum Mining Corporation
Spectrum Mining Corporation is a private company that recently reported significant ("REE") mineralization on its Wicheeda carbonatite-syenite breccia intrusive complex rare earth discovery, located 80 km northeast of Prince George, BC. (5th Annual Minerals South Conference)
Highlights from Spectrum's recent drilling include a 48.64 metre interval which averaged 3.55% rare earth elements, a 72.0 metre interval that averaged 2.92% REE, and a 144 metre interval which averaged 2.20% REE in three separate drill holes. In 2009, eleven NTW diamond drill holes totaling 1835 metres were drilled in the "Main Zone" from two new drilling platforms on Wicheeda. All 11 drill holes intersected significant rare earth mineralization and the Wicheeda deposit remains open in all directions. (2008 Aris Report) (http://aris.empr.gov.bc.ca/ArisReports/30873.PDF)
