Blue Raven Introduces Lower-Priced 7" All-In-One Portable Media Player With Built-In DVR

New MediaMate™ 7000 Series Lets Users Record and View on a Large Screen Movies, TV Shows, Music and Photos on the Road

The new MediaMate series features the first portable media player to combine built-in DVR capabilities with a large, vibrant 7" digital color screen, perfect for watching movies, playing music, browsing photos, and voice recording, wherever you go without needing to bring any additional hardware. The MediaMate device is the most user-friendly 7" MP4 player on the market, with a lightweight, compact design and a highly intuitive user interface.

The new MediaMate series is available in a 40GB model at a low suggested retail price of $379, and an 80GB model, which holds up to 100 hours of DVD-quality video, for $429.

Built-In DVR

With its built-in DVR capability, traveling TV buffs can record a program directly from their TV or TIVO to the MediaMate. While other systems require users to purchase an additional docking station and carry two hardware devices to record to the media player, the MediaMate has the DVR recorder built into the player so users do not need to bring or purchase additional hardware. Users can simply connect the provided AV cables from the MediaMate to a TV, DVD player or other device and directly record and transfer live TV, DVD, DVR(TIVO), VHS, Video, CD, digital pictures and even your own voice. Using the "Scheduler" feature, users can automatically record favorite TV shows at a specified time and then bring the MediaMate anywhere to view conveniently "on the go" or with others. The 40GB version will record up to 50 movies or over 11,000 songs. The 80GB version will record up to 100 movies (700 MB on average) or store 22,000 songs or 80,000 photos. *
