Bishop Terminates Lawyers Property Option

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - July 30, 2007) - Bishop Gold Inc. (TSX VENTURE:BSG) ("Bishop") listed on the TSX Venture Exchange Inc. under the trading symbol "BSG" announces that it has not made the required advance royalty payment and work commitment on its optioned Lawyers Gold Project in the Toodoggone region of northern B.C. by the July 21, 2007 anniversary date. As such, Bishop will sign a Quit Claim that transfers all mineral claims within the Lawyers group of properties back to Guardsmen Resources Inc. The termination of the option will not have material affect on the Company's financial position because it has previously written down all costs in connection with it.

Bishop will continue to evaluate its existing Gordon Lake property in the North West Territories, and look for other mineral resource opportunities.
