EMERYVILLE, CA--(Marketwire - May 27, 2009) - BigFix, Inc., a leader in high-performance enterprise systems and security management solutions, today announced that David Hanley has joined the company as vice president, Asia Pacific. Hanley, who is based in Singapore, is focused on leading BigFix's programs to build out and solidify its market presence while supporting its growing customer base in the region.

Hanley joins BigFix from Symantec Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd., where he served as senior director of the endpoint security team. Before Symantec's acquisition of Altiris, Hanley was vice president for Altiris, Asia Pacific, where he rebuilt the team and managed the sales and revenue pipeline for the company.

Previously, Hanley held leadership roles at Lucent Technologies in Asia Pacific. Prior to that, he worked for AT&T's Wireless Networks Group and NYNEX Network Systems.
