BROOKLYN, NY--(Marketwire - September 25, 2008) - Barrio restaurant, a hip Park Slope neighborhood favorite, is launching a weekly party for patrons of all ages: Tuesday Night Bingo. The restaurant is located at 210 7th Avenue (corner of 3rd street) in the heart of the Park Slope section of Brooklyn.

Kids and Families Bingo will be held at Barrio every Tuesday night at 6PM starting Tuesday, October 14th. Adult Bingo will be held Tuesdays starting at 8PM. Winners will be awarded fabulous prizes, including t-shirts, games, and festive cocktails (for players over 21 years of age, during Adult Bingo only).

Barrio is the collaboration between Manhattan restaurateur Spencer Rothschild (RAIN, CALLE OCHO, BLT PRIME, DJANGO, YUSHI) and Manhattan chef Adrian Leon (ROSA MEXICANO, PATRIA, CHICAMA, ZOCALO, ZONA ROSA). Barrio serves authentic Mexican cuisine in a hip, casual setting. Barrio is open 7 days a week, Monday through Friday beginning at 3PM, with Saturday and Sunday brunch beginning at 11AM.

The Barrio menu includes an authentic Mayan Black Bean Soup, topped with Chihuahua cheese, fresh avocado and crema fresca ($5.95), an earthy Queso Fundido served in a traditional fondue set with rajas poblanas, mushrooms and homemade warm tortillas ($8.50), a brightly flavored Shrimp Ceviche with crunchy jicama, chipotle chilies and fresh lime ($9.75), a rich Puebla Pork Tenderloin with corn flan and finished in a chili arbol peanut mole ($16.75), a singular Chicken Enchilada, served open-faced in a charred morita salsa ($14.25), and four types of tacos wrapped in deliciously light homemade tortillas ($6.95-$8.95).
