Bank of Georgetown Hires LaKendra McNair as New Vice President, Manager for Friendship Heights Branch
WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwire - September 20, 2007) - Bank of Georgetown, a community bank
chartered in Washington, D.C., has hired LaKendra McNair to lead its
Friendship Heights Branch as vice president and branch manager.

and branch development, combined with her familiarity with the businesses

McNair has more than 10 years of experience in local banking, all of which
was with Chevy Chase Bank. Most recently, she served as senior branch
officer and branch manager of Chevy Chase's Kensington branch. There,
McNair proactively and effectively managed more than 3,000 customer
accounts that helped grow and maintain relationships throughout the
community. In her first year, she helped to increase the deposit base by $7
million. McNair also developed and executed strategic fiscal plans to
establish and maintain operational, sales and customer service excellence.

Prior to serving as senior branch officer for Chevy Chase Bank, McNair held
a variety of roles within the organization. She was assistant branch
manager for five years in several bank locations throughout D.C. and
Maryland, in which role her prime duty was to drive individual sales goals
and manage her sales team's activity and productivity.
McNair began her career with Chevy Chase Bank as a sales and service
representative, providing customer support for new and existing account
holders. She has been accredited as a home equity specialist, mortgage
adviser and notary public in the state of Maryland. McNair earned a
Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia Union College and a Master of
Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
