SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - March 6, 2009) -

WHO: Awarepoint (www.awarepoint.com), a provider of
         real-time location solutions (RTLS), along

         and Scott Sullivan, Business Manager,
Perioperative Services of UCSD Medical Center
and an Awarepoint installed customer, will
participate at the International Conference on
         Health Facility Planning, Design and
Construction (PDC). The 2009 PCD offers
         educational sessions focusing on clinical,
         construction, design, economics, owner's
         perspective, codes and standards, sustainability
         and technology issues in healthcare.

WHEN: Sunday, March 8th to Wednesday, March 11th, 2009

WHERE: Phoenix Convention Center
         100 North Third Street
         Phoenix, Arizona, 85004

TOPIC: 9:00 AM - Wednesday, March 11, 2009 -- Real-time Location Systems
in Healthcare: Minimally Invasive Installation and Maintenance
for Existing and New Facilities: Scott Sullivan, Business
Manager of Perioperative Services at University of California, San
Diego Medical Center, and Matt Perkins, Chief Technology
         Officer of Awarepoint.

The session will focus on installing a real-time location
system (RTLS) to track assets in dynamic, technologically and
operationally challenging environments and the significant savings
         RTLS can achieve.

Installation of an RTLS provides a timely, reliable method of
locating important equipment and assets, allowing the facility to
lower equipment rental costs, reduce staff time spent searching
for equipment, minimize equipment theft and loss, reduce
equipment inventory requirements, and improve responsiveness to
regulatory requirements. This session will enable attendees to:

-- Evaluate the time and money required to install and
                  maintain a real-time location system.
-- Identify the critical success factors in choosing an
RTLS as demonstrated by the system implemented at
                  UCSD Medical Center.
-- Describe how to install an RTLS to track assets in
                  dynamic, technologically and operationally challenging
                  environments.

Skytron will be exhibiting at Booth # 213, where the Skytron
Asset Manager, powered by Awarepoint, will be demonstrated during
         the conference.
