Canadian Forces Invited to Eat Free at Applebee's^® on Remembrance Day

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 6, 2009) - Applebee's Grill & Bar^(R) restaurants Canada-wide are celebrating Canada's veterans and active duty Canadian Forces by inviting them to pull up a chair at their neighbourhood Applebee's for a delicious entree and heartfelt "thanks" this Remembrance Day.

On November 11, veterans and those on active duty with proof of Canadian Forces service are invited to select a complimentary entree, complete with traditional sides from the following menu selections:

• Three-Cheese Chicken Penne
• Fiesta Lime Chicken^(R)
• Chipotle Bacon Burger
• Chicken Fingers Platter
• Oriental Chicken Salad
