APC Group, Inc. Begins Trading

FAIRBANKS, AK--(Marketwire - August 27, 2008) - On August 12, 2008, shares of APC Group, Inc. (OTCBB: APCU) began trading on the over the counter Bulletin Board (OTCBB). APC Group is the first company from Fairbanks, Alaska to become publicly traded. APC Group designs and manufactures patented water-tight retractable power cord reels and proprietary extension cords for all locations and climates.

Ken Forster, founder, CEO and President of APC Group, moved from Spain to Fairbanks in 2000 with $40 in his pocket. He first lived in a local mission and performed talk radio for Clear Channel stations. He later became a weather forecaster for the local CBS and Fox affiliates. In 2003, he developed his business model for manufacturing and distributing watertight cord reels. Forster overcame significant personal odds in building APC Group and bringing his dream to reality.
