Jim Michalowicz has spent more than two decades advising companies on litigation and discovery. For more than a decade he worked at E.I. DuPont de Nemours and Company as the Business Manager of its Legal Department, as well as the Manager of Litigation Support. He has been the Litigation Program Manager for Tyco International, Inc. and a Senior Consultant for Altman Weil, Inc.
Michalowicz is a frequent author and speaker and has served as chair of the Fourth Annual Electronic Discovery Conference, panelist at the Federal Judicial Center Workshop for Judges of the First Circuit, contributing member to the Sedona Conference Working Group on Electronic Document Retention & Production and an editor for the Sedona Guidelines: Best Practices for Managing Information & Records in the Digital World. In addition, he testified before the US Judicial Conference, Advisory Committee on Civil Rules, Discovery Subcommittee in 2001 and 2005, offering suggestions for e-discovery rules changes and is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
