VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - July 30, 2010) - Pacific Opportunity Capital Ltd. ("POC"), a private company controlled by Mark T. Brown and his family, acquired a total of 175,000 common shares of Tarsis Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:TCC) ("Tarsis") in the month of June in the public market. The 175,000 common shares represent 1.0% of the issued and outstanding common shares of Tarsis.
Following this purchase, POC, together with Mark T. Brown and Spartacus Management Inc. ("SMI"), now own 1,874,500 common shares of Tarsis, representing 10.5% of the issued and outstanding common shares of Tarsis. 1,684,500 of these common shares are held by POC; 23,000 of these common shares are held by SMI, a company 100% owned by Mark T. Brown; and 167,000 of these common shares are held by Mark T. Brown personally.
The shares were acquired for investment purposes. POC, Mr. Brown and SMI may, from time to time, acquire or dispose of additional shares of Tarsis.
