WINDSOR, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - July 8, 2011) - Two to four CH-146 Griffon helicopters from 427 Special Operations Aviation Squadron will conduct training in the Windsor area on July 12 and 13 between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m.

Flying from the Windsor International Airport, helicopters will approach the Chrysler Building at 1 Riverside Drive from different directions and will hover over the building for brief periods of time in order to practice night approaches to high rise buildings.

Every effort has been made to minimize disruption to the public.

427 SOAS provides both tactical and special operations aviation capabilities to all units within Canadian Special Operations Forces Command (CANSOFCOM).
