3K Computers Announces New VAR Channel Sales Program
BOCA RATON, FL--(Marketwire - January 25, 2008) - 3K Computers, LLC (3K), a domestic,
built-to-order manufacturer of computers, workstations, servers and storage
equipment for the corporate, government and education markets, announced
its new, exclusive value added reseller (VAR) channel sales program.
"We understand the great value in having channel partners with the
technical and customer knowledge and work ethic necessary to sell to and
service our customers," said Dan Jacobs, CEO of 3K, which has been
manufacturing computers for more than 18 years. "3K systems are distributed
solely through Channel Sales Partners, offering them a great opportunity to
sell quality, Made-in-the-USA systems at lower prices and higher margins."
Each Channel Partner will have a U.S.-based 3K Account Representative to
answer questions or handle special requests. Representatives are trained to
help partners configure the best system for the end user. In addition to
exceptional customer service, 3K's Computers have a 10 to 15 percent cost
advantage over most of the mass produced imported brands and deliver more
generous reseller margins as well.
Registration is simple -- without strings attached, as is common with many
of the major mass produced systems. There are no fees or quotas to fill.
Interested VARs and distributors can sign up on the 3K website and
configure a customer's computer system from scratch. Production at one of
3K's two manufacturing facilities will essentially begin within minutes,
once the order is processed.
Ready-to-ship units are available as well, and come in two models -- the
OptiSys 845 Business Desktop ($599) and Longitude 730 Business Notebook
($999).
3K computers are IPv6-Ready, as verified by the company's membership in the
University of New Hampshire InterOperability Laboratory (UNH-IOL)
technology consortium. IPv6, short for Internet Protocol Version 6, is
designed to replace the current version Internet Protocol, IP Version 4
(IPv4). The U.S. Government is requiring support for IPv6 in all new
equipment, specifying that the network backbones of all federal agencies
must deploy IPv6 by June 2008.
