CHANGE IN SUBSTANTIAL SHAREHOLDING

On  28  October  2009,  the  Board  of  Aspartus Plc ("the Company") received  notification  that  Westward
Consultants Limited had disposed of its entire shareholding in the Company.

Accordingly, Westward Consultants Limited no longer has a disclosable interest in the Company.

The Directors of the issuer accept responsibility for this announcement.
