ATHENS, GREECE--(Marketwire - August 15, 2008) - DryShips Inc. (NASDAQ: DRYS) announced today that it will release its results for the second quarter 2008 after the market closes in New York on Thursday, August 21, 2008.

DryShips' management team will host a conference call on Friday, August 22, 2008, at 8:30 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time to discuss the Company's financial results.
