Employment Applications Now Being Accepted on the Red Hawk Casino Web Site
Temporary Employment and Training Center to Open in July

PLACERVILLE, CA--(Marketwire - April 9, 2008) - The Red Hawk Casino, formerly known as the
Foothill Oaks Casino, announced today that it is now accepting applications
for employment on its Web site.
Applications for employment will be accepted through an online application
system at www.redhawkcasino.com. Applicants will be asked to set up a user
account, including a user name and password. During the pre-opening phase,
jobs will be posted on the Web site approximately three to four months
prior to the date employees will be hired for a particular job. Applicants
may return to the Web site as often as they would like to check on current
job openings. For those without internet access, they may visit the local
Employment Development Department office (One Stop Career Center) or a
local library.
A temporary employment and training center is scheduled to open at 1117
Windfield Way in El Dorado Hills on July 1 for the general public.
Computers will be available for anyone to complete an online application.
Staff will also be available to assist with the application process. The
center will house free training classes on how to deal games such as
blackjack and baccarat. Those interested in the training classes will be
able to apply through the online application system.
Scheduled to open in the fourth quarter 2008, the Red Hawk Casino will
employ approximately 1,750 people. Initially, positions at the vice
president, director and manager level will be filled. In the coming
months, applications for dealers, casino hosts, restaurant staff and other
positions will be made available.

The Red Hawk Casino, formerly known as the Foothill Oaks Casino, is owned
by the Shingle Springs Tribal Gaming Authority, an instrumentality of the
Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians. It is scheduled to open in the
fourth quarter of 2008 near Placerville, Calif., located off of Highway 50,
