REMINDER/Media Invitation: TRIOOMPH Foundation


MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - July 2, 2013) - The TRIOOMPH Foundation, a not-for-profit organization with a mission to stimulate the academic dreams and success of young people, invites media to attend TRIOOMPH Day at the ICAR Circuit in Mirabel on July 3. The event will reward the progress and results of more than 300 young people from some 30 Québec high schools.

The day on the race track for the students (from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) will be followed by a fundraiser (from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.) where nine race car drivers will be partnered up with business people for a few track laps. Andrew Ranger, Patrice Brisebois, Marc-André Bergeron, Ray Courtemanche Jr., Isabelle Tremblay, Didier Scrhraenen and Jacques Deshaies, as well as journalists Bertrand Godin and Marc Lachapelle will take part in the fundraising activity for the TRIOOMPH Foundation as the host race car drivers.

Throughout the day, François-Charles Sirois, President and Founder of the TRIOOMPH Foundation, and all drivers participating in the program will be available for interviews.

What: - Trioomph Day for 300 deserving students from the program
- Fundraising benefit evening to help fight school dropouts
- A meeting with François-Charles Sirois and mentor-drivers from the Foundation
- Two friendly challenges on the track between Andrew Ranger and Isabelle Tremblay
When: Wednesday, July 3, 2013
Time: It is recommended that media join the event from 12 noon until 2 pm.
During that period, media will be able to see students on track with their mentor-driver, attend the friendly challenge between Andrew Ranger and Isabelle Tremblay, do track tours with either a mentor-driver or a professional driver, plus conduct interviews.

Schedule of events for students and guests:

8 a.m. to 1 p.m. - Student track tour (media tours on request)
1:30 p.m. - 1st challenge between Andrew Ranger and Isabelle Tremblay
- Track tour for media
3 p.m. to 5 p.m. - Track tour for students
6:30 p.m. - Track tours as part of the fundraising activity with professional race car drivers (media tours on request)
7:30 p.m. - 2nd challenge between Andrew Ranger and Isabelle Tremblay
7:45 p.m. - Address by François-Charles Sirois, founder of TRIOOMPH Foundation
8 p.m. - Continuation of fundraising track tours
