Orange County Business Council Welcomes Theodore Craver, CEO, Edison International

IRVINE, CA--(Marketwire - Mar 4, 2013) - Orange County Business Council is pleased to announce the 2013 Chairman's Leadership Breakfast Series, beginning Wednesday, March 6, featuring Theodore Craver, Jr., Chairman, President and CEO of Edison International, the parent company of Southern California Edison. Craver will join business leaders and public officials for a candid discussion on the latest news on the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS), evaluate energy and safety issues, and the future prospects of the nuclear plant. The series, sponsored by AT&T and Wells Fargo, is hosted by Thomas Phelps of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP, and takes place quarterly at the Center Club in Costa Mesa.

In his role, Craver has worked to preserve Edison's core vision of leading the way in electricity. Craver was elected Chairman and Chief Executive Officer in August 2008, and President in April 2008. Prior to joining Edison in 1996, Craver performed different roles within the investment banking industry. He served as Executive Vice President and Corporate Treasurer of First Interstate Bancorp (now Wells Fargo), where he was responsible for corporate development, treasury and sales, and trading of investment and insurance products.
