Horseshoe Bay Resort to Host Fourth of July Extravaganza From July 3 - July 7

HORSESHOE BAY, TX--(Marketwire - Jun 15, 2012) - Make this Fourth of July holiday one to remember by celebrating with family and friends at Horseshoe Bay Resort. From July 3 through July 7, resort guests will enjoy daily summer activities and special Fourth of July festivities including the 6th Annual Red, White & Blue BBQ, land and boat parades, Family Fun Day, Kids Carnival, live musical entertainment and more.

The highlight of the resort's Independence Day celebration will be a spectacular 18-minute firework show occurring over the glistening waters of Lake LBJ on July 4. The fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m. and will be choreographed to music and simulcast on KITY Radio for the public's listening enjoyment.

Wednesday, July 4
9:30 a.m. - Land Parade at Horseshoe Bay
Land parade will feature antique cars, horse drawn carriages and floats parading near the resort and through the City of Horseshoe Bay.

10:15 a.m. - Boat Parade on Lake LBJ
Boat parade featuring decorated boats that will float on Lake LBJ and by the resort's Yacht Club. The resort's Dining Yacht will be among the boats and will carry approximately 80 living military veterans.

2 to 5 p.m. - Kids Carnival
Fun for the entire family with a moonwalk, gyroscope, dunk tank and striker and booths offering funnel cakes, cotton candy and more.

6 to 9 p.m. - 6th annual Red White and Blue BBQ at Yacht Club
