Michael O'Neil, founder and chief executive officer of GetWellNetwork, Inc. will present "First Felt, Then Measured: The Power of Interactive Patient Care" at the Cleveland Clinic's 3rd Annual Patient Experience: Empathy and Innovation Summit. O'Neill's presentation will be given at 2:30 p.m., May 22, 2012, at the InterContinental Hotel and Conference Center in Cleveland, Ohio.
O'Neil will discuss patient-centered care as vital to the adoption of patient and family engagement and as shown by facilities across the U.S. to optimize patient care and hospital outcomes. About Michael O'Neil:
Michael O'Neil was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma at the age of 28. After four cycles of chemotherapy, he immediately began building GetWellNetwork to improve the patient experience. GetWellNetwork works with hospitals to improve performance and outcomes through patient engagement.
