SAN FRANCISCO, May 03, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Silicon Legal Strategy today announced that associate Meghan Fitzpatrick and paralegal Asad Salahuddin have joined the firm in its San Francisco office.
Meghan represents technology and emerging growth companies through various stages in their corporate life cycle, including pre-incorporation planning, entity formation, general corporate representation and counseling, debt and equity financings, and exit transactions. Meghan also works with technology investors.
Prior to joining Silicon Legal, Meghan was an associate in Goodwin Proctor LLP’s Technology and Life Sciences group in Redwood City, CA. Meghan received her J.D. degree from University of California, Hastings College of the Law and her undergraduate degrees in Economics and Art History from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Asad assists clients in all areas of corporate law including financings, governance, and incorporations. Beyond that, Asad has specialized expertise in mergers and acquisitions, providing assistance in due diligence, legal and precedent research and the preparation of any requisite blue sky or SEC securities reports.
Prior to Silicon Legal, Asad was a corporate paralegal in the San Francisco office of Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich and Rosati’s Mergers & Acquisitions group where he was exposed to multidisciplinary aspects of M&A deals including analyzing commercial contracts, reviewing internal policies and compliance procedures for GDPR and AHCA compliance, communicating concerns with opposing counsel, and maintaining internal deal organization. Asad received his undergraduate degree in Politics and Philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh.
